I use this manual from Hobbyking In the manual there is 4 parameter menus for programming the Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC, but when I test all my Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC it's only have 3 parameter menus, there is no parameter for Resetting of factory defaults data. In the manual Number of cells: 4-12 NiMh; 2-3 Lipo, but on my Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC label it’s only NI-MH: 6-10 CELLS. When I turn the transmitter on then I plug my Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC to the battery, 3 of my Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC have one long beep sound to indicates the Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC is ready, but the other one have 3 short beep sounds to indicates the Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC is ready.

I've looking all day on the internet for someone that maybe have the same problem, but no one who has problems like me. Is it possible that I get fake Hobbyking Red Brick 30A ESC from Hobbyking? Hobbyking are infamous for changing the specs on 'their' products without warning. Perhaps they ran out of the original manufacturer's ESC, so they are now putting their 'red brick' sticker on another brand. Or perhaps the manufacturer just decided to change their product.

That's what you get for buying cheap! Luckily your ESCs only have 3 programmable settings, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out which one does what. The one with 3 beeps might be in NICAD cutoff mode. Try changing it to Lipo mode. If you intend to use them in a 4 engine model then it might be better to program the other 3 into Nicad mode instead.
