Hey everyone, I'm not really clear on this.I've got 3 NLB cluster servers that will beused world wide.and I've got to get the Language Packs for German, both Chinese, Japanese, and French on the servers. I've got the Office 2003 MUI packs installed.but where are the OS packs.

I've got a EA Agreement with MS and have just about everything they offer. This is my 2nd post about this because the 1st post the person stated that the MUI packs are on CD 2 of R2 for Server 2003. I don't see them there and I don't really know what I'm looking for or if I do see it.how to install it (OS Component, Flat install, etc???) Please clear this up for me. Thanks a bunch.

Hiya Eza, Are you running OS Server Japanese version? What version of OS is it? How do I go about to install such OS?

I got a customer requested my company to install Windows Server (japanese version). Please advise. Thanks -Joshua. Smile, Joshua Siew Hi Joshua, Yes, my Windows Server 2008 R2 is Japanese language and I installed MUI english over it to translate the entire UI to English. I suppose this is supported only on Windws Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. But in the case of Windows 2000/2003/XP you base OS language must be English and you need to install japanese MUI over it for UI translation. I hope I've answered your questions.

Athtek Reinstall Directx Ez 5.36 Setup Key there. Thanks Ezakial I. Hi, As I know, we do not have a tool to translate Event Logs from one language to another. And if you remote connect from an English system to a Japanese one, most of Event Viewer items will still show in Japanese. In addition, I am afraid we cannot install a English language pack on a Japanese system because MUI runs on top of the English version of Windows. You can only install language packs on an English version of Windows. Therefore, I am afraid that you have to find a people who understands Japanese to help you troubleshoot this issue altogether.
