Killed the process thru task manager so no real issue there. One thing I thought I had noticed was increased performance when I played the game thru windows 10 compare to 7. I say thought because I was unsure whether it was just my imagination (running away with me) or if it was some kind of 'placebo' effect. Although, windows 10 does support DX12 so I am unsure whether that has had a knock on effect for DX11 (better use of the DX11 api).
